Hummingbird - Brandbook
I created the concept for a drone delivery company called Hummingbird, designed to bring healthy and affordable food options to people living in food deserts, as well as those looking to start a healthier lifestyle. The Hummingbird book brings awareness to this idea in a fun, children’s book inspired way. This book is 116 pages total and is narrated by the mascot, Cutie Fruity.

Hummingbird - Concepting
Using Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, I concepted these original wordmarks, brand colors, taglines, wordmarks, patterns, sketch outlines, and more. The idea was to make the brand colors vibrant colors of fruits, and to give it a friendly, and obtainable mood.

Hummingbird Mascot
The Hummingbird Mascot, Cutie Fruity, was created as a guide to lead the reader throughout the book. I designed this character using procreate on Ipad, and took the illustrated version into Adobe Illustrator and animated it with Adobe Animate.
Below I’ve designed the drones, the font and back views. And I’ve also included the other fruits and vegetable characters that popup throughout the book. Adding an extra layer of color & flavor throughout the Hummingbird series.
Hummingbird - Stationery
This section includes brand guidelines for properly using the Hummingbird color palettes, logo do’s and don’ts, the primary and secondary logo variations, print media stationery, and a fun “recipe” page added for extra flair.
Hummingbird - Closing Pages
Illustrated using Procreate and Adobe Photoshop, this piece showcases the drone factory, with the interior design inspired by the Amazon facility in Wilmington, Ohio.
